STEM Camps

The NSW AECG Inc. have partnered with the Department of Education and Connected Communities to coordinate a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) camp for Aboriginal students in regional and remote NSW. The camps are a huge success and has fostered students’ interest in the STEM subjects and for students to engage with industries to see the practical applications of STEM subjects. The 2021 STEM Camp dates are: 


Blue Mountains: 23rd – 24th June 2021
The New South Wales Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. (NSW AECG Inc.) in conjunction with the Department of Education’s, Aboriginal Education and Communities, will be conducting a STEM Youth Development Camp for Aboriginal students from Years 5 to 11. To commence the process the NSW AECG Inc. is calling for Expressions of Interest from schools with Aboriginal students in the nominated years.

EOIs close 3rd June 2021 so please get EOIs in as soon as possible.
