Aboriginal Culture and Literacy Program

The Aboriginal Culture and Literacy Program is a one or two day program facilitated by the NSW AECG for school students to enhance their literacy and writing skills in a cultural context.

During the program students will experience either an on-country visit to an Aboriginal site or participate in a cultural activity. Students will then further their literacy development based on their learnings from the cultural activity.

Event: Aboriginal Culture and Literacy Program
Target Group: Students K-10 (maximum numbers of students 25, minimum 10)
Cost: – 1 day program $1000 + GST
–  2 day program $1500 + GST
On Country learning:  To be negotiated based on the area. (the 1 day program must all be conducted on school      grounds due to time restrictions)
Transport: May be negotiated on request
Supervision: Schools to provide a supervising teacher(s)
