The NSW AECG runs several successful programs across NSW that help ensure gains and opportunities in education and training are afforded to Aboriginal people and their communities. These programs cater towards Aboriginal students. They include Aboriginal Culture and Literacy programs, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Camps, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Camps and Sports, Health, Opportunities and Wellbeing (SHOW) Camps, Language and Culture Camps.

(NSW AECG Inc.) in conjunction with the Department of Education’s Aboriginal Outcomes and Partnerships Directorate will be delivering an online Stage 2 Literacy programming professional learning workshop for pre-service Teachers and Teachers.

Academic Shirley Gilbert is partnering with the NSW DET and the NSW AECG Inc. to deliver an Ancient Australia History workshop that support your programming for 2022.
The Online Professional Learning Opportunities (OPLO) is a free session.Using Inquiry based learning we will look at how to engage Year 7 history students in the topic ‘Ancient Australia’ through hands on activities.

This session will look at Aboriginal Australia through an Aboriginal worldview and approaches to knowledge.
